About Artesia, California

Artesia is a city with a population of around 16,000. The City is also known as Little India because it is home to the second-largest ethnic Indian population in the country. As most of Artesian’s population is Indian, there are several popular Indian restaurants in the city such as Jay Bharat Restaurant, Rajdhani, Radjahni, Udupi Palace, and Ashoka Cuisine of India.

In addition, Artesia’s local history museum is in a unique historic house from 1905. It houses much modern art annex containing regularly updated art exhibits coming from local organization.

The City is also home to East West Ice Palace, an ice rink which is co-owned by Olympic figure skater Michelle Kwan which can be found at Artesia Boulevard.
